The Rotary Club of Alexandria Bay was founded in 1938 and takes great pride in its long heritage of supporting the Bay community. Today's members carry on that tradition through a wide range of projects, including:
- Providing scholarships and mentoring for local kids attending trade schools
- Local community projects like the River Hospital and Macsherry Library
- School activities: Backpack program, scholarships and dugouts
- Supplying many Christmas baskets annually for the needy
- Supporting international programs like ShelterBox
- Conducting at least 2 international exchange programs annually
- Sponsoring an annual Senior Citizens boat ride and luncheon
- Sponsoring and running the Small Fry Fishing Contest
And we enjoy each other's fellowship and the sense of accomplishment we get by making our community a little better. Come and be part of this tradition.
